The new interest rates for loans through the Texas Veterans Land Board for this week are as follows:
5.75% Base Rate applies to all loans with a term greater than 15 years.

Discount for loans with a term of 15 years or less: -.25%
Qualified Veterans with Disabilities Program Discount: -.35%
Qualified Service Era Discount (Restricted Pool): -1.29%

I am so pleased to see a Realtor who knows about a great program like TVLB and actually doing your part to promote it by sharing the most recent weekly rate available. This program and the awesome rate (below market by approx 1/2 percentage point or possibly more) provided by the State of Texas. The program is provided for the Men & Women who have so selflessley given thier time to serve us, so we may continue to have the freedom to follow our dreams and create an awesome livelihood for us and our families.
I just attended a Veterans Fair this weekend at the College of the Mainland, Texas City. There was a very good turnout, I was amazed at the number of Vets that were unaware of the program. Most of the TVLB loans that I do are not aware of it until I tell them about it, the buyers are so excited when I show them who much money they can save over the life of the loan. I have been doing these loans now for probably 6-7 years. Rates have ranged (over the last 6-7 years) from 3.95 up to 6.5.
